9/26/2023 0 Comments Eve online reddit![]() The reason I created this community is to get players like you logging in and doing things. ![]() Some fleets like the mining fleets and the pvp fleets will have handouts that will likely get blown up and there's SRP for all of it if you have your own ship. Some fleets do require a deposit that you get back after you hand the ship back in (more expensive ships like our incursion Praxis or ships from areas that are hard to get assets to like the FOBs). So if you go to the website you'll find all the info for our incursion fleets as well as other fleets (FOB, mission, ratting, mining, pvp, etc and so on and will be adding abyssal fleets soon).Īll of our fleets have handouts. So last year we started adding other PVE fleets. This started 2 years ago as a high sec incursion community but the players of Eve were pretty clear that it needed to be more. It's a public community that puts on fleets for everyone to come and enjoy regardless of your corp or alliance. I'm Kshal Aideron, the CEO of Eve Rookies. If not, Ill go through the advice on here and keep going. so i find another game to occupy my time since I dont seem to be making any relevant progress in EVE.Įdit: Thank you so much for all the advice! I'm gonna lurk the corp im in for a few more days and see whats up - they have something coming up so I might hop into that. Slowly but surely at the end of that 2 weeks I start to peter out and realize i'll never accomplish anything in the game worth anything since I'm so far behind the curve and unlike anyother MMO there is no clear catch-up mechanisms etc. The world is massive, and while its an MMO, im afraid to interact with anybody outside of the corp in any way - not to mention the amount of warnings people give about scammers. i have ships strewn about at different places which i dont even know if they are worth anything and i just "start over" wherever i happen to find myself 6 months later. I dont even know what questions to ask about what to do.Īnd this happens everytime i start since it was such a long time since my last streak. Yet, I still dont know what the hell I am doing, or what my goal is, or how to accomplish that goal if I do come up with one, if im wasting or losing money, I cant skill up anymore since Im not paying for a membership and ive max out my magic 14 skills. I'll log in everyday during those 2 weeks, claim my rewards like a good boy, Engage with some agents kill some NPC's, maybe even join a mining fleet with the corp or alliance. but its only for 1-2 weeks every 5-6 months. I've been playing EVE for about 3 years and 9 months. ![]() I for example have way more fun running around in a cheap ass frig than piloting a 3b battleship.First let me say, I love the thought of EVE, the look, the feel, the world, everything about this game is theoretically what I want out of a game - specifically an MMO. ![]() Isk is really not everything and it really depends on you. This one is even more "luck based" but it also comes down to about 50-100m isk/hour.īUT the most important thing that you should do what you enjoy. If you'd like something with more shooting, i'd recommend doing highsec escalations (DED sites) or scanning down combat anomalies (DED or unrated complexes which can escalate to ecpeditions) should be viable with a cheap but tanky fit vexor or caracal. Ofc, it takes a bit of practice and you will get blown up many many times, but you will make good profit and also learn a lot on using the probe scanner and the d-scan both of which are essential tools in the game for most activities. With a 5m fit heron you can easily make ~100m isk/hour by doing ruined relic sites in wormholes or filamenting to nullsec. You should try out exploration if you're an alpha. I really dont think it is required but depends on how much time you're actually planning to play. ![]()
